We know about teenage children – we have one ourselves. We all find ways to deal with the emotional roller coaster teenage-hood brings with it. The best way we deal with less than enthusiastic teenagers on a session is by talking to them. Once we establish some common ground – music, books, sports, current affairs, career choices etc we find they relax and want to join in. It’s easier than threats of removing screen time or groundings and we find most secretly like the attention they get.
Absolutely – we have quite the menagerie ourselves so understand the importance they share in our lives. They are family so obviously they should be involved. We make sure we plan location accordingly (and happy to provide the special treats!).
We understand – this is something you’ve talked about, possibly for years, and now there may just be the one opportunity before a family members moves away. Craig is an award winning Master photography of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. His experience and passion for creating a unique piece of artwork will see him scouting new locations, perfecting lighting techniques and spending hours in post production to ensure the final outcome is stunning. So much so that we have a 100% Guarantee.
Definitely – we love the idea of going to those places that have special meaning to our families. It gives the final artwork even greater emotional significance. We have travelled all over WA creating artwork for families and are only too happy to spend time at your ‘special place’.
Having older family members involved in your session can be very special. We suggest that any images they are involved in be given the top priority. Then we suggest another relative might like to collect them and take them home so we can continue the session without you worrying about them.
Yes – and don’t worry lots of our clients aren’t certain how they want to display their artwork. This is where the Pre-Shoot Consult is essential. It lets us explore the options for display. By having it at your home we can look at what space is available and get a feel for the style of your home. We can explore options such as portfolio boxes and albums as well as different displays like side table ‘ice blocks’ and mounted prints.
The answer to this varies greatly from family to family. As a guide most of our clients spend north of $1750. We also have a client who has returned 5 times and spent $8000 -$12,000 each time. We discuss fully with you the options at your Pre-Shoot Consultation so you know beforehand the approximate cost of the artwork we plan to create for you. Please see information under ‘Investment’ for more details about Creative Fee and Minimum Spends.
